As General Manager for Continental Airlines in DTW since 2003, I had the opportunity and pleasure to work with
Sharon until her retirement in 2006. If you were to design the perfect employee, Sharon could be used as the model.
While working as an ASA in DTW, Sharon demonstrated a strong command of the technical aspects of her job
responsibilities. Her knowledge and desire for continuous improvement served her well in her additional role as the
DTW training coordinator. In her capacity as training coordinator, Sharon tracked all regulatory training
requirements for CO and vendor partners in DTW, coordinated the distribution of required training materials and
monitored progress to ensure timely completion.
In addition, Sharon worked as the backup for our local Administrative Assistant, filling that role anytime our
Admin. Assistant was absent. Her attention to detail, which is critical for this position, provided a seamless
continuation of administrative duties associated with all station controls and financial processes.
