This document summarizes initiatives taken in an integrated tribal area development program covering 3,087 sq km and 961,190 people. The key initiatives included (1) community development through forming community-based organizations and training village volunteers, (2) watershed area development through micro plans and soil/water conservation, (3) agriculture and horticulture development through training, technology transfer, and cold storage, (4) agri-mechanization to reduce drudgery, (5) animal husbandry including dairy development, (6) livelihood enhancement through self-help groups and food processing, (7) community health programs including a medical center and outreach, and (8) education and skills training resulting in employment for

We are need of interested likeminded volunteers to facilitate our above said programs which aim at clean and green environment and human transformation of weaker sex.
