This document provides information about a one-day blockchain training event for managers to be held in Brussels, Belgium on December 14, 2017. Breakout session: making blockchain a reality in financial services
In this session course attendees will breakout into groups to begin to put into practice
some of the lessons learned in the day’s training. Each group will discuss the problems
their businesses face and how blockchain could help to address them. Our expert
trainers will guide discussion and provide practical assistance so course attendees will
have taken the first steps towards implementing blockchain at work before they walk
out the door.

TAXI
Taxis with a taximeter are permanently available in front of the arrivals
hall at Brussels Airport. The fare from the airport to The Hotel Brussels is
normally around € 45. Licensed taxis can be recognized by the blue and
yellow emblem.
If desired you can hire a private chauffeured vehicle via Direct Way. They
provide cars, minivans, coaches and shuttles, and also organise tours.

TRAIN
The Airport Train Station is located below the terminal (basement
level -1). Up to 4 trains per hour offer connections from the airport to
Brussels Midi station.
From Brussels Midi Station take Metro Line 2 or 6 (direction
ELISABETH) until LOUIZA Metro Station which is only 300 meters away
from The Hotel Brussels.

Urban public transport company STIB offers “The Airport Line”:
an express connection (30 minutes) between Brussels National Airport
and the European district:
Line 12: take this shuttle until “LUXEMBOURG” bus stop.
Next you go on bus 64 until the stop “PORTE DE NAMUR”.
The Hotel Brussels is only 400 meters away from this stop.
Note: only operated from Monday to Friday until 8 PM
Line 21: take this shuttle until “LUXEMBOURG” bus stop.
Then, get on the 64 bus until the PORTE DE NAMUR stop. The Hotel
Brussels will be at 400 meters.
Note: only operated during the week after 8 PM, on Saturday Sunday and Holidays.
