• No need for reinforcements of the 130 kV grid.
• The regional grid:

Two redundant transformers 130/30 kV for uptime
Traction substations for 30 kV AC to 750 V DC

8. Inductive road
• Test vehicle with installed shielding
• First test in December
• The Bombardier test track in Mannheim

9. Conductive road
• Volvo and Alstom have built test track for conductive road
• The test track is 435m with 22m segments.
• Two different pick-up prototypes tested at various
speeds and at different loads.
• Efficiency tests at 130kW
