Objectives
Meet the staff.

Learn about the main results of the Diabetes Prevention Program
(DPP) and the Diabetes Prevention Program Outcomes Study
(DPPOS).
Review conditions that increase risk for diabetes (pre-diabetes and
metabolic syndrome).
Receive an overview of the Intensive Lifestyle Intervention Program.
Learn the two Intensive Lifestyle Intervention goals and why they
are important.
Discuss key aspects of the lifestyle coach-participant relationship
and sign the agreement in the participant handouts.
