September 11, 2001 is the day four planes were hijacked and three crashed into important buildings, while the last crashed into a field. And today all
the grief, devastation, great sacrifice, and total annihilation will be remembered throughout time as 9/11. To tell you everything would take forever,
so instead I will tell you how my mother saw it. It was on a day we all know as 9/11, there was a house on Quimby Way in Sacramento, California.
And in this house, my mother was going throughout her day as usual, which most likely involved laundry, dishes, and watching two children by the
name of Alanna and Christopher, when she saw the news. "Is this really happening? This can't be true! Was it an accident? Oh my god, both towers!

Grief such as this is not only found in America. Matter of fact she told me that she feels 9/11 is similar to an event that went down over in Eastern
Ukraine. She helped me find the information on it; and I learned, that a plane from Malaysia Airlines had left Amsterdam and was headed to Kuala
Lumpur one Thursday and was blown to bits over East Ukraine. The event killed everyone in the flight and numerous Dutch children at a school below
the plane. Last night my mother said, " The impact of 9/11 won't change, healing takes time, and we've got a lot to do." The coverage on the news
though is another story. Mom remembers seeing the events unfold on the ABC News(the same on I saw in class)and how unfathomable it had seemed
that something like that could and had happened. But, at the same time she was satisfied, the report was an appropriate or just the right amount of
information. There was enough to cause panic , but not too much, and people would be satisfied that they weren't being shut out. People knew enough

The Relevance of History: September 11, 2001
On September 11th, 2001 four airplanes were hijacked by 19 militants from the Islamic extremist group, al–Qaeda. Two of the hijacked planes hit the
World Trade Center in Manhattan, New York. The third plane hit the Pentagon right outside Washington D.C. The fourth and final plane crashed in a
field in Pennsylvania. This tragic event in history is traditionally viewed as a terrorist attack on the US by an extremist group called al–Qaeda. Claims
were made by al–Qaeda that they had planned, arranged, and organized the attacks. Since that day in history the Islamic group has never been viewed
