1. Physical Science
Semester Exam Review
The exam will consist of a multiple choice section, a short answer section, and a problem section. It will be
designed to last at least 2 hours. Equations will be provided. Students will also be allowed ONE 8 in by 10 in
of HANDWRITTEN notes titled as MY FINAL EXAM REVIEW sheet distributed to students upon their
return in January and due on the last day of class FOR HW credit. The front of this sheet will contain the
periodic table. The numbers of questions from each chapter will be representative of the depth in which we
covered the chapter. For example, there will be very few questions on acid/bases/salts, however you can expect
many on atomic structure and processes.
Start reviewing by looking over the short answer portions of old tests. Use your notes from class, labs, and the
book questions below to review the content covered in the first semester. The following is a list of questions
that I picked from the book that highlight some of the concepts that we stressed. They also include practice
problems. All questions are from the end of the chapters. Use the following key:

STUDENT. You will then be asked to change your password to something you can remember. Write this new
password down.
This assignment is due by the last day of class as a HW graded review worksheet. 10 point per topic based on
the % earned per topic.
Winter break Extra credit opportunity--5 points extra credit for each topic completed with a 70% or better
by the time we return for WINTER BREAK! .
