2. Overview
In order to make strategic decisions for the future it’s
important the CGI are able to evaluate key trends and
act accordingly.
In this seminar, we will look to evaluate a number of
mega-trends and determine the key implications for
the CGI.
We will do this by looking at PWC’s key mega-trends
and evaluate each of them in turn. This will take the
form of a group discussion which will be facilitated by
the tutor.

• Be able to determine and describe the key mega-trends
taking shape across the globe
• Critically evaluate the potential implications of
these trends on the consumer goods industry
• Determine how the CGI can respond to these
trends
• Come up with robust recommendations for the
CGI to take advantage of the opportunity
presented by these trends
