If you are a leader allow yourself to be lead
Teachers cannot not be managed but lead
They can only be managed through policies in place ats school
Treat your teachers with dignity
Allow them to practice their leadership skills through a project called “One day
manager”
Allow your leadership style to be flexible
Be their mentor, parent, sister, mother …… everything to your staff
Protect them
Reprimand to be done in private but praise in public space
Support, monitor, evaluate, praise and reward
Where possible once per two years award certificates of excellence to teachers to
applaud their good work
Strive for excellence at all times
Ages is a number. Born before technology is a myth. It doesn’t exist
