In 2011, Americans spent $21.7 billion on a total of
9.1 billion gallons of bottled water.
Even the highest estimates show that only about
20% of all plastic water bottles are recycled.
Bottled water is not as “pure” as you think - in
2009, almost 50% of all bottled water came from
municipal tap water supplies.
Reusable stainless steel water bottles and tap water filtration
systems are cost effective, long lasting alternatives that are
better for both YOU and the ENVIRONMENT!
Plastic water bottles take an average of about
450 years to decompose, and some types of
plastic bottles will never decompose.
