This document provides instructions for employees to access Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for products used at work through an online program. It outlines 7 steps to search for and access specific SDS sheets, which provide information on storing products and first aid treatment. It notes there is a 24/7 hotline number to call with any questions about medical treatment for injuries caused by these products.

• We have installed a program on the Erb
Internal (Erb Engine On-Line) website
which will enable employees access to
Safety Data Sheets for products we use
at Erb Transport.
• This allows quicker access in case
of an emergency medical condition
while using any products at work.

• Please review the following procedure to
access this program:
1. Go to Erb Engine (Website)
2. Enter: Last Name
3. Enter: Your employee number that is on the
back of your I.D. Card

4. When Erb website appears, click
on the button on the left side
column.(Erb Safety Data Sheets)

5. When the next screen comes up you can enter the
product name, manufacturer’s name or product
number that you want to see.
* Please note: the spelling of the manufacturer’s
name may not match when you key in the complete
name. Click on the “contains” drop down and click
on “begins with” and enter the first letter in the
manufacturer’s name only.

6. Once you have entered your choice click on the
search button and all related SDS/MSDS sheets
will appear.
A screen will appear, click the Action drop down
arrow and click View SDS & Attachments and
the data sheet in the system will appear. View
on either the SDS USA or WHMIS Canada.

7. The MSDS/SDS sheet will appear, scroll down to
review what is required for storing and first aid
treatment for that product. If you want you can
also print the sheet to review.
