Andrew is grieving in a dark room after losing someone. Overcome with rage and loss, he tears a computer monitor from the wall. He stands over Michelle, breathing heavily as they stare intensely at each other. Andrew raises the monitor to hit Michelle but stops, slumping against the wall. He apologizes to Michelle, who is now snapping at him, saying he failed to protect her. As Andrew tries to comfort Michelle, a zombie appears and bites him.

W/S The room has darkened the warm streaks from the sun
replaced by an orange glow of low evening sun.
M/S Andrew sits up suddenly, the tear marks run like tracks
down his face,
C/U of his emotion switches from the loss and grief, mutating
to rage,
M/S as he snatches a computer monitor tearing the cabling
away from the wall.
C/U He stands over her, his breath quickening, his eyes
starring intently at her.
C/U of Michelle staring back returning the flinching stare the
intent behind them nothing more animalistic hunger.
C/U His fingers adjust on the monitor tightening.
W/S The decision made, he raises the monitor and hits it off
the wall beside her head.
M/S as he slumps back down along the wall opposite her.
C/U of Andrew as he talks.
C/U of Andrew leaning towards Shell, she begins to snap at
him.
M/S of Andrew touching her hand as she continues to snap.
He stares at the ground.
M/S of Andrew backing away from her, becoming upset.
Quick cut to C/U as he turns away straight into the face of
another zombie and screams as he gets bitten.
FADE TO BLACK

wall.
Non-diegetic sound: heavy breathing with Shell growling.
Non-diegetic sound: The monitor smashing off the wall.
Non-diegetic speech: Andrew “I’m so sorry, I can’t do this
who am I some murderer, I know your not you but...”
Non-diegetic speech: Shell snapping.
Non-diegetic speech: Andrew “The only thing they told me to
do was protect you, I failed, all you wanted me to was end
your nightmare and I failed, I failed everything... I am so sorry
I failed everyone, I love you, at least you don’t know how
much I failed you”
Non-diegetic sound: zombie lunging at Andrew, and him
screaming.
Non-diegetic sound of them groaning.
