The storyboard shows the characters playing chess at a cafe, running into town smiling, waiting at a crosswalk while admiring their nail colors, relaxing on a bridge where they spot Ellie biking, and sneaking into a private regatta event for a picnic where they apply makeup and paint their nails. The two main characters Izzy (1st character) and Pia (2nd) will
located at a local café in Henley where they will be playing chess
with BARRY M nail varnishes.
This shot consists of various shot types including;

The camera focuses on their eyes as they express their emotions.

HIGH ANGLE/ LOW ANGLE
In this shot the two characters will be playing chess but the camera
gets two different views from each person. Including high angle low
angle, to show power.

This shot is two shots of the characters eyes to add tension.

The 1st character will look up at the camera as if she‟s looking at
the second character. This is repeated with the second character.

LONG SHOT
Introduce our third character (Natalie) who will be seen walking
down the road. Walking confidently and unaware of the fact people
are watching her. She is smiling and happy.

2. We can still see the 1st and 2nd character at the café.

Ext. TOWN CENTER – DAY
Natalie appears closer than before this will be edited in slow
motion. She continues to smile and look happy whilst walking though
town centre.

TWO SHOT
Cuts back to 1st and 2nd characters face.
They look shocked and are startled by the third character. The
camera will then pan to Natalie.

This shot includes all three characters walking on the pavement in
line with each other looking happy and smiley. Each has bags in
hand. We can see the café in the background.

3. The girls come to a halt and press the button and the traffic lights
and wait.

The camera will be moving at this point. This shot is the three of
them „chilling‟ on the edge of the bridge. They look very calm. At
this point they are acting as if they‟re modelling rather than
playing a character. (t this point only)
They flirt with the camera and stare into space a lot. They then
turn around and look at the river.

WIDE SHOT / ZOOM
Introduce the fourth character who will be cycling alongside the
river. The three girls on the bridge see her shot point and smile at
her. The camera understands that they know who she is.

EXT. HENLEY BRIDGE/ PATHWAY/ P.O.V – DAY
1st shot – re used footage of the three characters on the bridge
pointing at the fourth character that is cycling along the path.
2nd shot – WIDE SHOT. The fourth character (Ellie) cycling along the
path by the river. (Also tracking)
3rd shot – P.O.V The fourth character on her bike. We see everything
she sees.

4. CUT
FADE IN
EXT. PATHWAY – DAY
HIGH / LOW ANGLE
The four characters are sneaking into the private Royal Regatta.
They are running down the path as if they are not meant to be there.
Giggling a lot and laughing. They run from side to side all behind
each other to make it seems more secretive and rebellious.
EXT. EXTREME CLOSE UP – DAY
2nd character – „Shhhh‟
She smiles as she says it, as if they are not meant to be there.

EXT. BEHIND A WALL – DAY
CANTED / OBLIQUE ANGLE
All four of the girls look around. We just see their heads, hands
and hair.
Focuses on their makeup and nails.

EXT. REGATTA TENT – DAY
LON SHOT
All of the character run towards the regatta tent with all their
bags etc. they are crept down as if they are not meant to be there.
The are all in a line behind each other.
They are laughing and smiling.

Three camera will be set up.
In this scene they pull out the picnic blanket, hamper, makeup, etc.
Three camera are set up to get three different views on the scene.
They are smiling, chatty etc.

INT. INSIDE REGATTA TENT – DAY
The camera will be placed inside the hamper and shot of the
characters opening the hamper to get two different shot types. The
girls are eating cupcakes and enjoying their garden party type
picnic.
