The first conventions in this film is that the killer is dressed in a mask and
this has been seen in other this genre(horror) films. Because it interests
the audience to find out who is the person is.
The other typical horror convention is about the lighting . In some scenes
there was used Low Key Lighting and it creates mystery for the audience,
“maybe someone is hided in the darkness”.

The other convention in this film is that the film set in the large house,
situated in a secluded area, making it desirable location to murder to
strike, as no one will be able to hear the screams of the victim.

Victims in horror films are usually young women, who are off guard and
