Scott
is
a
serial
entrepreneur,
author
of
the
book,
Property
Going
Global,
which
was
written
in
association
with
Clem
Sunter
and
is
the
authority
on
FinTech
and
the
intersection
of
International
Real
Estate
Investment.
He
is
a
master
real
estate
analyst
and
investment
real
estate
acquisitions
expert
and
active
in
several
global
markets
including
USA,
UK,
Australia,
Asia
and
South
Africa.
Scott
is
passionate
about
crowdfunding
and
how
it
is
going
to
revolutionize
real
estate
forever
and
create
global
wealth
for
all.
In
2015
he
was
invited
as
a
member
to
International
Crowdfinance
Leadership
Council
(ICLC).
He
is
also
one
of
the
founding
members
of
the
African
Crowdfunding
Association
(AfCA),
Africa's
only
crowdfunding
association
which
is
moving
Africa
forward.
Although
he
started
from
humble
beginnings
he
did
his
first
property
project
at
13,
his
first
development
at
19
and
his
first
international
investment
at
22.
Scott
is
passionate
about
crowdfunding,
receiving
honours
Cum
Laude
for
his
dissertation
on
this
topic
in
1998
and
how
it
is
going
to
revolutionize
real
estate
forever
and
create
global
wealth
for
all.
He
also
received
honours
Cum
Laude
for
his
Masters
he
did
in
London
on
the
same
topic.
Basically
Scott
is
tomorrow’s
simple
answer
for
like-‐
minded
real
estate
investors
to
create
global
wealth
today.
After
17
years
of
challenging
the
status
quo,
the
reality
has
finally
arrived.
He
is
now
invited
globally
to
present
at
the
best
real
estate,
FinTech
and
crowdfunding
events
to
explain
what
is
happening
in
this
space
globally!
Crowdfunding
is
not
a
trend,
or
a
fad,
it
is
changing
business
as
we
know
it
and
it
is
going
to
revolutionise
banking,
insurance,
medical
aids,
real
estate,
wealth,
finance,
etc
and
everything
other
sector
where
people
are
disenchanted
with
the
current
service.
Basically
what
Amazon
has
done
to
retail,
Tripadvisor
has
done
to
tourism
or
Uber
has
done
to
taxis
globally.
Deloittes,
Accenture,
KPMG
and
Ernest
&
Young
have
placed
it
as
one
of
the
top
10
trends
to
be
watch
in
2015.
Crowdfunding
has
tipped
$10
billion
in
2014,
was
$1
billion
in
real
estate
crowdfunding
and
is
expected
to
be
$250
billion
by
2020.
Scott
is
so
passionate
about
crowdfunding
he
was
invited
to
Necker
Island
to
spend
a
week
with
Richard
Branson
to
discuss
how
this
can
be
scaled
by
2020.
He
was
also
tasked
as
the
authority
to
speak
at
MIPIM
Asia
in
Hong
Kong
in
Dec
2014,
and
MIPIM
in
Cannes
France
in
2015,
both
the
biggest
and
most
respected
real
estate
events
globally.
Scott
Picken
is
passionate
about
global
business,
international
real
estate,
sales
and
2. marketing,
and
teaching
people
what
is
possible
in
life.
At
the
age
of
19
he
started
his
first
business
in
South
Africa,
and
has
experienced
all
business
cycles
from
being
liquidated
to
building
an
international
business
that
has
done
over
R1.9
billion
in
sales
internationally.
Today,
Scott
dominates
the
business
world
in
each
niche
he
focuses
on.
He
runs
six
successful
companies,
including
International
Property
Solutions,
Wealth
Migrate,
Wealth
Create,
Global
Wealth
Group,
Double
Your
Sales
and
Business
Breakthroughs
Africa.
He
is
fascinated
by
the
world
going
global,
glocalisation,
crowdfunding
and
the
future
of
the
global
economy.
He
also
believes
strongly
in
the
rules
of
nature
and
the
21st
century
business
thinking.
Scott
is
the
Founder
and
CEO
of
Wealth
Migrate,
Your
Trusted
Global
Real
Estate
Marketplace.
As
Scott
says,
“We
specialize
in
assisting
high
net
worth,
sophisticated
investors
with
the
acquisition
of
below
market
properties
in
first
world
countries.
What
makes
us
unique
is
we
have
22+7
years
of
combined
international
real
estate
experience,
have
facilitated
over
10800+
investments
internationally
on
5
continents
and
to
a
value
of
over
$1,34+
billion.
We
have
established
relationships
with
Best-‐of
Breed
partners
globally,
to
find
the
elite
off-‐market
deals
and
execute
on
the
opportunities.
Our
philosophy
is
safety
and
our
values
are
based
on
trust,
transparency
and
only
partnering
where
all
parties
interests
are
aligned.
We
treat
our
partners
money
more
conservatively
than
if
it
was
our
own,
but
give
them
the
opportunity
to
invest
hassle
free
in
first
world
assets,
get
a
first
world
income
and
create
global
wealth.”
In
2015,
Wealth
Migrate
was
recognised
officially
by
the
MassSolution
(the
Industry
Authority)
in
their
Real
Estate
Crowdfunding
Report
2015
as
the
10
biggest
real
estate
crowdfunding
site
globally
and
most
importantly
the
only
one
in
multiple
markets.
Scott
is
lucky
to
be
living
his
passion
and
purpose.
He
is
one
of
the
leaders,
driving
the
Wealth
Movement,
whose
mission
is
to
empower
a
billion
people
with
the
wealth
effect
of
real
estate
by
2020.
Scott
says,
“Through
real
estate
crowdfunding,
this
is
not
only
possible,
but
it
is
our
responsibility
as
it
provides
us
with
the
opportunity
to
solve
the
planets
greatest
challenge.”
At
the
World
Economic
Forum,
Davos,
Switzerland,
it
was
agreed
that
the
Wealth
Gap
is
the
greatest
challenge
facing
the
sustainability
of
the
planet.
85
of
the
wealthiest
people
on
the
planet
have
the
same
wealth
as
the
bottom
3.5
billion.
49%
of
the
world’s
wealth
is
held
in
real
estate
and
for
as
long
as
man
has
accumulated
wealth,
land
and
real
estate
have
been
the
number
one
vehicle
of
growing
and
preserving
wealth.
However
out
of
7
billion
people,
only
12,9%
of
people
have
access
to
real
estate.
It
greatest
barrier
to
entry
is
experience,
geography
and
the
funding
gap.
Scott
Picken
says,
“Our
mission
in
driving
the
Wealth
Movement,
is
to
at
least
double
this
to
25%
globally
by
2020
and
give
access
to
everyone
who
is
like-‐minded
and
understands
the
power
of
the
crowd
working
together,
just
like
in
nature.
As
when
birds
fly
in
a
flock,
versus
flying
on
their
own,
a
bird
in
a
flock
can
fly
70%
future
than
a
bird
on
their
own.”
3. This
will
ensure
we
create
a
better
and
more
sustainable
planet
for
all.

Finally
he
is
passionate
about
training
children
in
entrepreneurship,
as
believes
this
is
the
great
gift
he
can
give
back
to
Africa.
They
have
partnered
with
Lemonade
Day
in
USA,
which
is
endorsed
by
Google
for
Entrepreneurs,
and
to
teach
children
about
business
through
a
lemonade
stand
and
their
goal
is
for
every
child
in
USA
(250
000)
there
will
be
one
in
Africa
who
gets
the
same
training.
When
Scott
is
not
trying
to
revolutionise
the
real
estate
industry
and
solve
the
world’s
greatest
challenge,
he
loves
spending
time
with
his
wife,
Kelly
and
3½-‐
year-‐old
son
Jonty.
He
loves
to
have
fun
and
certainly
works
hard
and
plays
hard.
He
enjoys
any
sport
which
involves
adrenaline
like
rugby,
hockey,
kite
surfing,
barefoot
water
skiing,
surfing
and
anything
with
action.
He
has
done
some
crazy
stuff
like
climb
Kilimanjaro
(highest
mountain
in
Africa)
and
run
the
longest
one
day
road
race
–
The
Comrades
Marathon
–
(89km
or
60+
miles)
three
times.
Just
to
name
a
few.
