Horticultural plants or their products directly or indirectly constitute raw material for
many industries. Whole of plantation crops like Tea, coffee, rubber, cardamom,

Growing of ornamental plants is an industry in itself. Indoor plants etc.
Manufacturing of cosmetics and value added products depends a lot on the plant
based products.
