In today’s business environment, there are hundreds of machines running thousands of software instances e.g. web
servers, application servers, databases. Monitoring health, availability, performance ,throughput, latencies means
collecting and analyzing tremendous volumes of data. Our Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solution
strives to detect and diagnose complex application performance problems using this data to maintain an expected
level of service. Adding actionable alerts on this data is nearly impossible. And it is easy to get lost in the noise and
figure out the real issues. This is where machine learning matters and just identifying anomalies is not enough as this
might result in too many false positives.
AppsOne solves the problem by using machine learning & analytics to figure out if any of the anomalies correlate to
application load (response times, volumes etc.) and thus, further reducing false positives. And this helps enterprises to
take focused actions pertaining to the real issue. It can also highlight the precise root cause of that issue along with
the sequence of events. Also, as it actively learns from various incidents, it can detect and flag similar issues. And this
means someone can resolve an issue proactively, which translates into minimizing unplanned activities/downtime.
Also, as AppsOne monitors the load and the behaviour at the infrastructure level, this can be used for Capacity
Planning and provisioning the infrastructure precisely.
