1. The schedule of activities was developed to guide the lecturers/facilitators with their assigned topics.
Sufficient time was given for each lectures specifically to the skills/procedures to ensure that there will be
adequate time for demonstration and return demonstration, and to answer questions that may be raised
by the participants. The time and/or date may change depending on the following factors:
a. Availability of the lecturer
b. Progression of the lectures
c. Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
2. No specific format was provided in making the presentation. This is to develop the creativity in everyone.
Each lecturer may present their topic in their own unique way to catch the interest and attention of the
participants.
3. Arabic 101 includes words and phrases that will be used in communicating with patients. This was included
in the lectures so that the nurses will be prepared to communicate with their patients once the hospital
operates.
4. Lectures may be draining to the participants especially when it is a whole day activity. Therefore, Ice
Breakers where included to provide breather to the participants.
