Mr. Mohammad Hamza Bin Shehzad completed his 4-month internship (01.07.2019 -
18. 10.2019) in our department "Corporate Network Design & Transportation" at the Schaeffler
Group's headquarters in Herzogenaurach. lt is a sub department of "Corporate Supply Chain
Management and Logistics".

Mr. Mohammad Hamza Shehzad quickly familiarized himself with the tasks assigned to him
and at the same time acquired the necessary knowledge (e.g. SQL and databases, Python)
through self-study. He then quickly incorporated the knowledge he had acquired into the daily
tasks.
He was always reliable and precise. All colleagues who worked with him confirmed that the re-
sults were achieved and that he was a real help. Apart from our department, he also worked
closely with Ms. Kristin Binoeder from the Purchasing Department on two of his projects.

a. Created database to carry out "Cost Analysis" in order to check for missing
cost factors such as drayage costs on each Logistic Service Providers
b. Analyzed hidden routes, not shown by Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), and
ensured the optimal route for Schaeffler shipments
c. Lead time analysis to enhance the freight transportation efficiency and in-
crease DDR
