The Singapore Cricket Club International Rugby 7s is one of the most prestigious rugby 7s tournaments in Asia. In 2023, it will be the 74th edition of the event, held at the historic Singapore Cricket Club from November 3-5. The tournament features teams from across Asia and attracts over 4,000 spectators each year to its location in the heart of Singapore's Central Business District.

2. Welcome to the Singapore Cricket Club
International Rugby 7s, one of the most
prestigious sporting events in the region and
the second-oldest 7s tournament in the
world.
2023 will be the 74th edition of the
tournament, held at the historic Singapore
Cricket Club, with teams from across 3
continents participating.
The event is organised by the Singapore
Cricket Club Rugby Section and is
sanctioned by both Asia Rugby and The
Singapore Rugby Union.

3. The tournament is held right in the heart of
Singapore's Central Business District, on the
hallowed square called the "Padang", which is
Malay for field.
The Padang has been the centre of a number
of historic events in Singapore's past and is
currently in line to be a UNESCO historical
site.
The SCC 7s is the only Rugby tournament in
Singapore to play in such a hallowed location,
with a purpose-built structure erected
annually just for the tournament.

4. The SCC 7s in fact comprises four
tournaments under it's umbrella, namely
• SCC Academy Tournament which has over
400 teams of children and youth from 4 to
18
• SCC 7s Schools and Colleges Tournament,
which is one of Singapore's oldest school
7s competition
• SCC International Rugby 7s which is the
main competition attracting teams from all
over the world.
