This document outlines 5 analytics reports that law firms are not running but should in order to improve various areas of their business: 1) analyzing their database for blank fields, duplicates, open to-dos, and case dates; 2) examining who completes work and how long it takes to identify staffing inefficiencies; 3) tracking expenses in initial case valuations and periodic checkpoints to ensure value is increasing proportionally to spending; 4) evaluating website landing and exit pages along with user behavior flows to improve the user experience; and 5) monitoring networking activities and follow-ups to ensure efforts are productive. The document advocates that analytics can provide insights to drive meaningful actions.
