STATE BANK

Understanding
SBI's Share
Price Analysis!
SBI is an Indian multinational, Public Sector banking and financial
services company. SBI is one of India’s major banks and is an
industry leader in terms of size, business sector promotion and
initiatives for the progress and economic enhancement of the
Indian economy.
SBI provides a wide range of banking and financial services to
corporate, institutional, commercial, agricultural, industrial and
individual customers throughout India. The Bank also provides
international banking to its Indian customers and has operations in
other countries.
ABOUT SBI...
SBI is a financial conglomerate. Through its various subsidiaries and JV
companies, it has presence in insurance, asset management, credit
cards and various other services including stake in various regional
rural banks. All these are performing exceptionally well and adding
substantial value to the bank’s valuation. These subsidiaries have grown
by a 25-40% CAGR over the last 3-5 years and have become market
leaders. The industry they are working in has low penetration so we feel
that they will keep on driving high growth in the bank’s consolidated net
profit. This will also help SBI hedging against downturns in specific
segments and access multiple growth avenues. SBI can divest its stake
to unlock the value of its subsidiaries and raise capital.
