audience would feel jumpy when seeing this

man, there are also close ups of the
objects which are in the mans
hands. This may give the audience
clues on the way he had been
killed.
Long shot shows the mise en scene of the
room. It allows you to see the surroundings
of the location as it is very low maintenance
and gritty.
This mid shot shows the position the man
is standing, compared to the other
victim, he is more calm. He looks like he
is also worn out but with no sense of
hope. There is no sound in this clip apart
from the dialogue used, where he states
his age.

7. This mid shot allows the audience to see the characters
emotion and the way the man is positioned. There is diegetic
sound of him deep breathing. This builds up tension. Also by
the facial expressions, you can tell some thing shocking has
happened.
This extreme close up of the man shows us in detail
what his facial expression is like. As you can see the
frown lines on his face, it shows how he is scared, as
though is his shaking as well. Due to being frightened.
This extreme close up shows how he has been kept hostage, by a big cuff
and chain being attached onto his ankle. This allows us to see him
attempting to take it off, as you hear the chains rattling.

8. This long shot shows the view of the room the
men are in, also shows how it is isolated and
nothing essential is around. Also gives a sense of
them being watched.
This Medium shot emphasizes how there is no sign
of escape. Adam’s facial expression shows that he is
screaming and in in desperate need to be set free.
This low angle shows the significance of the
‘new clock’, as it suggests that someone
must of wanted Adam and Lawrence to
know the time. Which may also be a clue to
what may happen later on in the film. Also
the diegetic sound of the time ticking may
connote that time is running out.
