This is the film ident.
It is conventional that
it come at the
beginning of the title
sequence. This shows
the audience the
companies which
have been involved.
involved
This is the title of the film. It is shown in the
beginning of the opening title sequence.
This is a extreme close up of a photograph of a blooded room taken by
the main character. This is a picture of a crime, which makes audience
this whether he is a detective or did he do the crime. This makes the
audience intrigued to see what’s going to happen next. Also as the
opening sequence it is slow pace and shows information such as the
actors names.
This is an extreme close up of a man taking a photograph. However
in the clip, it shows the photo being taken in a reverse order. This is
because the film structure is that they start off from the end of the
film to the beginning. Showing how the man was killed, and reasons
why. Also the use of photo’s being taken is very conventional for a
crime/thriller as it creates mystery.
This is an extreme close up of the man who has taken the
photographs. The mise en scene of costume/ makeup shows scars on
the character's face which may suggest that he has been apart of
some sort of crime, or he is a violent character. However the scars
gives a masculine look.
This is an extreme close
up of a fluid which looks
                        like blood which is
                        gushing in reverse order.
It may be blood from a
                        person or blood which is
                        around the room.

This is slightly a
shallow focus of the
bullet. Which is also
a extreme close ups
This extreme close up of the glasses shows that there is an
investigation going on, looking around crime scene of main
objects. Blood shows that there has clearly been a crime
and someone may of gotten shot. These camera shots
slowly drops clues to show what has happened. As it gives a
small introduction to what the film is about. Also the
Extreme close up shows that it is around a Gritty urban
location
This is a high angle of a victim who is being killed, this makes him
look very weak and powerless. The mise-en-scene around his
shows how his belongings such as his glasses are scattered around
him and there is blood all over. This yet again emphasizes that he
has no control and is weak. His position shows that he has fallen.
However as his face is not shown, we do not know who it
is, therefore it gives a mysterious atmosphere.
This high angle shows what the extreme close
ups, and close ups are about as it suggest
what's happening. He May of been kidnapped
and shot. Looks like the crime has been
planned as he is in an isolated, harsh looking
environment. Yet again this has emphasis on a
mysterious atmosphere.
This extreme close up of the man and his facial features such as his eye and
nose. This give a mysterious look to the character, as it makes you think what
his role may be. Also the low key lighting creates an eerie atmosphere which
matches the thriller genre of this film. Signifies to a different scene maybe
flashback.
Shows a photographs of what may be of the crime. These would
slowly hint what has happened and how it happened. It is
conventional for a crime/thriller to have photo’s which tell the story.
Now know this is the crime scene. All the clues from the extreme
close ups and close ups add up to the same locations and objects.
Slow reveal to show who has been shot/ the crime.
