Saucer travel is proposed using sub-critical masses that are charged and able to be pushed away from gravity, allowing acceleration as a stable vehicle similar to spin but without actual spinning. By reacting to energy as heavier but feeling gravity's pull normally, the mass could fall more slowly while taking more energy to stop falling but longer to accelerate, traveling more like space flight even with gravity's effects on the apparent mass.
