After completing my fitter course from Fr Agnel engeniering collage Mumbai I have
done Welding course and ship fritter course .I also holding a coded welding 6G
certificate from Loyed Register .in November 1997 I joined merchant navy as Tr Fitter
after four months I got promoted as fitter /welder .in my merchant navy carrier I sailed
on all types of ships such as VLCC , Gas carrier , Chemical Tanker,Bulk
Carrier,Container Carrier and Multi purpose ships
I joined SBM OFFSHORE in AUG 2008 on a FPSO vessel as Maintenance operator
/Moterman which was under conversion in Keppel ship yard in Singapore and now it is
in Brazil. Till the date I am with SBM OFFSHORE.
In this Sixteen years I got good experience of complete Overhauling and Maintenance
of all kind of machineries used on merchant Steam/Motor vessels and FPSO units such
as:
Various types of Main Engine/Diesel generators: B&W, MAN, YENMAR,
CARRERPILLER, SSANGYONG WARTSILA,SULZER RND and DAIHASTU
Steam/Gas Turbines : PETER BROTHERHOO / Solar Turbines
Various type of High Pressure Pumps: Centrifugal, Multistage, Reciprocating, Screw,
Framo, Steam driven, Pneumatic, Hydraulic driven pumps etc.
Gas/Air Compressors:, Atlascopco, Intersoll Rand & All types Fridge and Air
conditioning system.
Purifier’s: Alfa Level, Mitsubishi
Boilers: Gosfern, AALBORG , MITSUBISHI ,HITACHI
Also work on Turbochargers, Governors and Instrument controls
I have good experience of Trouble shooting of rotating and other equipments. I am a
good learner of new things and try to achieve the best. I have good experience major
overhauls . I like to learn new things and try to pick up things fast. I am confident to
