An interactive kitchen showroom that places the audience in the
setting of Fellini’s movie La Dolce Vita in order to create a new
world for the audience to explore and learn about the kitchen’s
functions. Using the film as a starting point, the audience is
transported into a strong story of not only Aster’s brand, but the
process of choosing the perfect kitchen.

WATCHING THE MOVIE
The experience starts from the
exterior street level in which the
customer acts as the audience
watching the “movie” of La Dolce
Vita. Each window correlates to a
different episode from the film.
Entering the showroom places
the audience into the shoes of the
character Marcello interacting
with his surroundings in order to
learn about kitchen func- tions.

Through the experience of being
Marcello, the customer explores
five different ar- eas inside the
ground floor space each relating,
not only to a specific scene
from the movie, but a different
element of Aster’s kitchens.
Amorous Affair focuses on the
function of the cabinet system.
The Cha Cha Club lets the
customer use virtual reality to
create their own kitchen space.
Sensual Touch lets the customer
play with the materials. Whisper
Chamber tells the brand story
of Aster and their attention to
detail. Eternal Spring, focuses on
the newest technology inside the
kitchen.
Entering the basement level
reveals the behind the scenes
placing the audi- ence in the
role of the actor able to see
the kitchen “sets.” In turn, this
creates an inclusive experience
for the customer that
exemplifies the Aster brand as
a leader in Italian kitchens.

ETERNAL SPRING : In the movie
is EP2 the scene at the fountain.
New tectnology equiptment
exhibition.People see the
exhibition through the censor
curtain falls (A). When they try
to touch the object waterfall will
stop and the light comes up. (B)
SENSUAL TOUCH : In the movie
is EP1 the scene at the prostitutes
house. Materials are displayed
in enlarge scale to present the
beauty of color and texture. At
the end of the corridor there is a
bed allow people to have fun with
materials.
CHA CHA CLUB : In the movie is EP6 the night
scene at Cha Cha club. People using VR to create
and adjust their own 3D kitchen in the night club
atmostphere while the song keep playing look like
they are dancing on the dance floor.
WHISPER CHAMBER : In the movie is EP5 the
scene at the Aristocrat's castle. People sitting in
the chamber room.Only people in the room will
here the whisper because of the special speaker
on the ceiling. They will hear different voices of
the craftsmanship process. Finally the answer will
appears outside on screens.
AMOROUS AFFAIR : In the movie is EP7 the scene
at the beach house party. Different shape and
function of cabinet storage and drawer displayed
from the floor to ceiling for people to explore and
learn. Red represents women. At the end there is a
secret door to enter to another space.

Brief To explore the design of new spatial models for
contemporary office spaces, able to enhance a smart modality of
work based on knowledge sharing, mutual support and counter-
balance. Aiming at reinventing the traditional working practices
and the related working stations, the design proposals should be
able to combine flexible spatial infrastructures and access to
digital services and tools, to create a working habitat that
combines individual and collective needs.

“Lanna” is a beautiful culture of Northern Thai people in the
past. The design is merging modern design with elements of
traditional Lanna culture, art and architecture. The spaces are
imbued with luxuriant colours, textures and patterns to capture
the grace of Thai Lanna style, while unexpected artworks and
architectural elements bring an industrial edge.

Sukhothai was the first capital city of Thailand. The hotel
is scoped to Boutique Hotel and serviced for 37 room-
keys included villas. The function area is 11,341 sq.m. and
the land lot is 8 Rais.
Concept "The Golden Era of Sukhothai" express the
"Sense of Place of Sukhothai" and represents the beau-
ty of golden era in the past connected to the present.
The site of the project is settled near Sukhothai historical
park. It is surrounded by paddy field which is the lifestyle
of Sukhothai local people.
