 Monitor the Server backups using Commvault.
 Monitored clients, Libraries and Media Agents.
 Monitoring the ticketing tools. Acknowledging and resolving the tickets with SLA.
 Managing backup infrastructure for an UK based clients, as Commvault Simpana 9.0 & 10.0 are
the backup applications for the clients.
 Level 2 support of the Commvault Backup environment for Events on a 24x7 basis, investigating
and managing incidents and processes through Cherwell applications as appropriate.
 Create the storage policies in commvault and create data set and schedule the backups for
commvault.
 Configured new client to backups and scheduling the backups as per user request.
 Removed decommissioned client from backups as per user request.
 Managing and creating different types of the policies for the backup jobs.
 Monitoring Daily Backups jobs and troubleshooting backup failures with in the SLA process.
 Troubleshooting and resolving issues for the tape libraries.
 Worked on client issue remotely via phone/email/chat/WebEx.
 Handling the backup failures and restore tickets.
 Performing restores as per the users request from tapes and disk backups through Commvault
Simpana within the SLA.
 Presenting Over running and Daily summary backup report to Clients.
 Presenting Daily summary report of all clients with in the team to ensure/achieve SLA targets.
 Level 1 support of the Netbackup environment for Events on a 24x7 basis, investigating and
managing incidents and processes through BMC Remedy applications.
 Monitoring backups jobs and doing File system, SQL, Exchange and NDMP restores using
Netbackup Java console.
