It finds there is a high correlation, showing that revenue is directly linked to ratings. However, other factors also influence box office performance, like favorite actors. The study also examines the rise of blogging about movies in India and finds it is a popular topic among social media users. Social media feedback can therefore serve as an effective indicator of real-world box office outcomes.
