A Mixed use development project comprises of diverse activities and functions located at the
sprawling District centre in Rohini with site area of 16 acres.With a AIM to explore the symbiotic
character of COMMERCE and CULTURE and to evolve a contemporary model of conventional
Indian market.

It was designed in 1961 by architects Sarabhai and Gira on a 63,848 sqm site along the Sabarmati River. The master plan divides the campus into three parts - the institute complex containing the academic buildings, a residential block, and public areas. The complex contains administration blocks, lecture halls, a library, workshops, laboratories, an exhibition space, auditorium, faculty rooms, and circulation areas. The residential block has hostel buildings and quarters for guests and staff. Landscaping with lawns and courtyards helps reduce the campus temperature.

Every year, PCA&D students, aided by faculty members and PCA&D alumni (and lots of coffee), create brochures, logos, t-shirts, posters, websites and more during a 24 hour period.
During the 10th annual event on Feb 23 aND 24, 28 Graphic Design students aided by 8 faculty members and 8 alumni, one of whom participated in the original Designathon, sequesterED themselves at PCA&D starting at 6 p.m. on February 23 to deliver professional-quality design services at no charge to the non-profits. Students at PCA&D who participate in the Designathon gain real-world experience in creating projects for clients under a tight, 24-hour deadline. They learn that non-profits have very real marketing needs in order to be successful, and strong graphic design on well-organized collateral pieces are vital components in successful communications and marketing plans. More importantly, students experience the value of giving back to the community.

This year’s event was no exception, and over 1,250 guests attended the Senior Show and had the opportunity to meet the 52 graduating artists, viewing their work and enjoying live music and refreshments.

In AH 318 Photography, an art history course for 3rd and 4th year students at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, while examining connections between the selfie and art history, students were asked to take selfies that reflects or relates to works of art.
