Saint Maud was born in 1155 in Germany and died in 1965 at the age of 50 in Germany on her feast day of March 14th. She visited the sick and poor, raised money for them, gave them food, and convinced criminals to reform their ways. Saint Maud was German and cared for all people. She was recognized as a saint for following God's commands and respecting others, and is the patron saint of care, hope, love and understanding.
