Some safety concerns in the home include medication management and errors, falls related to environmental hazards and sensory changes, pressure ulcers, and self-care abilities. The document recommends nurses conduct safety assessments in clients' homes to identify hazards, develop safety plans, and ensure quality of life and function for clients.
