Bella and Toby had to walk to school after missing the bus. They encountered various obstacles on their journey like driveways, pedestrian crossings, railway crossings and roads that required them to cross safely. With guidance at each stage, Bella and Toby were able to use safe crossing techniques like stopping, looking both ways and waiting for clearance to cross obstacles and reach school without any accidents.

Toby was still sleeping at 7:45! Bella ran to wake him up “Toby wake up we’re going to
be late for the bus!” Bella ran into the kitchen to let Toby get changed. Bella and Toby
were eating their breakfast when their Mum rushed into the kitchen.
“That was the bus Toby and Bella and I can’t drive you to school” said Mum. Bella
asked “Why not?” “I’ve got to look after your little sister.” Mum replied. Bella’s face
dropped “Oh no that means we’re going to walk to school!” Seven minutes later Bella
and Toby opened the gate to start walking to school.

The brother and sister started walking to school when
Toby stopped and pointed “Bella there’s Francis in
the car on the way to school.” “Doesn’t matter Toby
keep walking” said Bella “But that's a sneaky
driveway Bella! I can’t remember how to cross safely
what should we do?”asked Toby
