Anna Raush
Our chosen site is Jalan Bukit Bintang. From our analysis, we noticed a dormant space with potential to be used for street performances. Street performers currently perform scattered around the street in unsuitable areas. We propose creating a functional social space with a sheltered platform for performers and comfortable seating for audiences. The space would transform the dormant area and provide a safe, organized space for street performances and community enjoyment while minimizing disturbances.

Presentation - Urban and territorial transitionsCarlos Moreno
The document discusses the changing nature of cities and territories over time. It advocates for a 15-minute city model where most daily needs are within a 15-minute walk or cycle. This model promotes proximity, sustainability, and quality of life through mixed-use neighborhoods, pedestrian-friendly streets, and access to services, work, education and leisure activities locally. The document presents examples of cities implementing aspects of the 15-minute city concept and argues it can help address challenges of climate change, public health crises, and social isolation.
Sustainable town planning and mobility are important for urban development. Sustainable mobility through public transportation and non-motorized modes can improve quality of life by reducing traffic while supporting economic growth. Integrating land use and transportation planning along with stakeholder participation are keys to achieving sustainability goals. Past projects in Aveiro failed because they did not sufficiently consider urban planning, mobility issues, residents' needs, or involve all stakeholders. The future requires a shared vision and coordinated strategies to integrate sustainable urban planning and mobility.

62. Collective Value
Spontaneous City can’t be successful without
Public value is what is important for everybody on long term.
It is understood by everybody, and must be accessible to everybody
It entails: public space, landscape, nature, cultural heritage and
more
It is more holistic, some values are not measurable.
Value is never only intrinsic, it derives from what we value.
Public value is site-specific
Public value can also produce financial value.
