3. This is Russ. He is new to Kelvin Road School. Russ likes going to Kelvin Road
School because it is fun and he likes the children there. This is a story about
the things all new pupils need to know in his first week in the Senior
Syndicate at Kelvin Road School.
If you know all of these things, you will have no problems at all!

4. At Kelvin Road School we show
our pride by wearing our
uniform. Russ is wearing his
school jersey. They are really
expensive so put your name in
it Russ !

5. If you are new to our school
there are heaps of toilets to
use. The best ones for seniors
are by the hall or by Room 8.
You can ask someone if you are
lost.

6. This is the yellow line to the Seniors and the Juniors. We are not allowed to
play together because we want to keep the Juniors safe . Russ is a Senior so
he stays on this side of the line.

7. When you are late to school
you have to go to the office
and tell the office lady so your
teacher knows you are at
school.

8. One of our school promises is to be proud of Kelvin Road School . Russ is
picking up the rubbsh to go to the blue bin which shows he is proud of our
school.

9. Russ needs a drink. Kelvin
Road Senior School has 7
drinking fountains to drink
from.

10. Russ is have his lunch because he is
hungry . Lunchtime is from 12:10 to 1:00.
At Kelvin Road School you can order your
lunch or morning tea you lunch. If you
forget to bring one, there are spare
lunches.

11. Russ is not allowed on top of the play
ground because he might fall off. He has
to swing underneath it only .

12. This the car park. Russ is not allowed in the
car park because it is not safe .

13. Russ come get the ball to play and to
play soccer and kick with it. The PE
shed is open every lunch time to get
balls.

14. If you kick the ball on the roof just leave it there and Mr Rush will get it down.
DO NOT CLIMB ON THE ROOF!

15. Russ can go on the computer
when he has finished his work.
He can also use the computer
to do his work.
Kelvin Road School is lucky to
have a lot of computers.

16. When you are really naughty you have to
go to McMillan. He will growl you and
ring up your parents .
If you are a little bit naughty in class you
go to the thinking spot. In the thinking
spot you fill out the thinking sheet that
the teacher gives you .

17. Me and Russ are for ever talking together because we are best friends for
ever . The best thing about being in the Seniors at Kelvin Road School is
making friends.
