The Rotary Spring Walk 2014 will be held on Sunday, September 14th at Waterfall Estates. The walk is organized by the Rotary Club of Morningside to raise funds for humanitarian projects. Proceeds will benefit organizations like Agape Children's Shelter, SANCA Rehabilitation Centre, and Nomzamo Creche Alexandra. Participants can choose between a 5km or 10km route. Past walks have raised over R2.4 million for projects such as building classrooms, clinics, and sports facilities for local schools.

 5km, 10km, 15km fun walk held
at Modderfontein,
Johannesburg
 Last year at Waterfall Estate.
 Has raised over R 2.4 million for
various projects.
 Averages over 2000 entries per
year.

 Food and refreshments are

6. Nedbank was formerly the primary sponsor and doubled all monies
raised by Rotary. This year we are looking for a new sponsor.

donations, the completed centre is valued at over R750 000

9. Sefikeng Primary School upgrade
Situated in the grounds of Leeukop Prison: We
built a kitchen facility, a multi-purpose court, a
water-wise vegetable garden and an up-grade of
their library.

10. Deney Van Royen from Protech and
President Salman Khan visit the school for
an inspection. (16 August)

The event consists of two distances 5 Km &
10 Km.
Discovery Health have agreed to award
Vitality points for participation in the event.
