The purpose of this paper is to analyze the evolution of the diffusion of the UNE 166002 innovation management standard in Spain for first time. Using data provided by most of the accredited organizations, the evolution of the diffusion of the UNE 166002 standard from 2002 to 2011 is studied. The results show that the diffusion of UNE 166002 follows a logistic curve in S shape. The current stage of diffusion it is in the expansion stage (in terms of initial stage, expansion stage, and saturation stage). According the available data at the end of 2011, the market would not be saturated until 2021. The findings of the present study should be of interest to all institutions and organizations involved with this type of certification—including accreditation organizations, certifying bodies, and business consultants specializing in the implementation of the UNE 166002 standards

Amsterdam ranks highly in the European Green City Index. It scores 8.0 out of 10 and ranks first among comparable cities for waste and land use, water consumption, and environmental governance. Amsterdam performs well for its size, ranking in the top 10% for energy consumption per capita, CO2 emissions per capita, and percentage of renewable energy. The city promotes cycling, public transit, district heating, and recycling to reduce its environmental impact.
The document discusses the increasing fragmentation of media and the rise of digital advertising exchanges. It notes that media consumption is more spread out across thousands of websites and channels. In response, portals and large websites have made acquisitions while advertisers have turned to ad networks for reach. However, these solutions still have issues around control, transparency and access to long-tail inventory. The document proposes that advertising exchanges can help solve these problems by automating the buying and selling of ad inventory from diverse publishers, including long-tail sites, and giving buyers and sellers more control over pricing and targeting. Exchanges allow brands to access premium inventory at scale while giving publishers demand for their remnant inventory.
Adding,subtracting,multiplying and dividing fractionsgrade5a
This document provides an overview of how to perform the basic math operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division on fractions. It explains that to add or subtract fractions you find the lowest common denominator (LCM) and then multiply the numerators and denominators. For multiplication, you multiply the numerators and denominators. For division, you invert the second fraction and multiply.

It begins with an introduction by Gabriel White where he shares his experience in mobile user experience design over the past 10 years. He then discusses challenges in redefining what is meant by "mobile" experience design as people interact with technology across different contexts and devices in evolving situations. The key is understanding the end-to-end interactions and relationships between devices to create meaningful mobile strategies.
This lecture identifies three functional mechanism or means of developing successful base of the pyramid business models--value creation, cost reduction, and market penetration. Successful ventures simultaneously utilize all three of these mechanisms in localizing technology, establishing a business model, and interfacing with local ecosystems. An emphasis on value creation through stakeholder engagement and collective agency are differentiating characteristics of efforts to serve unmet needs.

Observability Concepts EVERY Developer Should Know -- DeveloperWeek Europe.pdfPaige Cruz
Monitoring and observability aren’t traditionally found in software curriculums and many of us cobble this knowledge together from whatever vendor or ecosystem we were first introduced to and whatever is a part of your current company’s observability stack.
While the dev and ops silo continues to crumble….many organizations still relegate monitoring & observability as the purview of ops, infra and SRE teams. This is a mistake - achieving a highly observable system requires collaboration up and down the stack.
I, a former op, would like to extend an invitation to all application developers to join the observability party will share these foundational concepts to build on:

Climate Impact of Software Testing at Nordic Testing DaysKari Kakkonen
My slides at Nordic Testing Days 6.6.2024
Climate impact / sustainability of software testing discussed on the talk. ICT and testing must carry their part of global responsibility to help with the climat warming. We can minimize the carbon footprint but we can also have a carbon handprint, a positive impact on the climate. Quality characteristics can be added with sustainability, and then measured continuously. Test environments can be used less, and in smaller scale and on demand. Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.

Building Production Ready Search Pipelines with Spark and MilvusZilliz
Spark is the widely used ETL tool for processing, indexing and ingesting data to serving stack for search. Milvus is the production-ready open-source vector database. In this talk we will show how to use Spark to process unstructured data to extract vector representations, and push the vectors to Milvus vector database for search serving.
