Wednesday 15 June
Handwriting/Typing
Spend 10 minutes on your
handwriting/typing. You can use the
links on the blog to take you to sites
where you can develop your typing
skills. Or copy the following poem
(written by Sophie L) in you neatest
handwriting.
High hills stealing
Wonderful activities starting
Bright stars glistening
Noisy wind whistling
Creaking cabins nursing
I will not forget those moments
Reading
Choose a text that you have at home to read.
You could select an article from the newspaper
2. or a magazine if you don’t have a book. Once
you have read it fill out the following strategy

your family.
Make sure you are specific but add enough
detail to explain your connections.

Yesterday you had the opportunity to write an
information report of your choice. Have a go at
the following activity.
Check the Success Criteria
Take it a step further:

on your Information
Report, please email
it to……
banksave25@gmail.com
7. Spelling-Put this weeks spelling words into sentences. I know many of you will
have your notebooks at school. Choose your words from the Commonly Misspelt words
or the following. Make sure you select challenging words.
complications temperature
commonly delight
personality dingy
volcanic qualification
personification freshness
8. Inquiry-Immersion
We have just finished our Beyond the Third

that you can try!
Take it a step further: Create a mobile of the

Well done for taking responsibility for your own learning and
completing the learning tasks at home.
