Ronnie Raindrop narrates their journey from precipitation to reaching the sea. Ronnie begins falling as precipitation near a watershed and rolls down a steep, thin valley river. The fast flowing river is rocky in its upper stage before Ronnie falls over a waterfall. After passing through middle passages and an oxbow lake, the flattening river turns everywhere through meanders before reaching the beach, with friends falling onto floodplains along the way. In the lower stage, the river's load is too great for it to hold as it approaches the massive floodplains and expanding meanders leading to the river mouth and sea, where Ronnie and friends have finally reached the end of their journey.
