Ronak Shah is an engineer at the Institute for Plasma Research in Gandhinagar, India. He has a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.Tech in Turbomachines. At IPR, he works on the design, development, and analysis of subsystems for an indigenous helium liquefier/refrigeration plant. His responsibilities include working on air compressors, helium compressors, and turbines. He has experience with CFD analysis and the design of compressor components like brake wheels.
