Everyone is capable of creative thinking
What I’m thinking about?
The left hemisphere of our brain handles
tasks such as reading, writing, speaking,
arithmetic reasoning and understanding.
Another characteristics of our left
hemisphere is that it tends to process
information sequentially, one at a time.
How I’m thinking
the right hemisphere of our brain excels
in visual perception, understanding
spatial relationships, recognizing
patterns, music, emotional expressions,
etc. It is also good at making
inferences.

run, lay it all out and allow
yourself to think big

"Realist" you are
thinking more
logically, narrow
ideas to a short list,
take the best idea,
create an action
plan to apply idea
into reality
When you are a "Critic" you are
thinking more critically, what
obstacles will you face, what things
could go wrong having heard the
action plan and what the dreamer
wants, break it down.
6 hats method
The white hat helps us to think in the most objective
and neutral way possible. With this thought, we need
to focus on the available data, look at the
information we have and learn from it
The black hat is used to be critical in a negative way,
thinking why something cannot go well. With it we
will activate the thought of judgment and caution,
revealing the negative aspects of the addressed issue
the blue hat is the one controlling all other hats. It
regulates the timing and the order of the different
topics. With this one, we discuss the thinking process
and summarize what has been said. In the end, the
conclusions are written
With the red hat, we can express our feelings,
intuition, and emotions, without the need for
justification
The green hat opens up creative possibilities and is
deeply linked to lateral or divergent thinking
With the yellow hat, unlike the black hat, we try to
look at the positive aspects of a specific issue; it will
help us see why something is going to work and why it
will offer benefits
free writing method
1. Clear your mind. Relax. Forget all of
the rules concerning grammar. This is
the most important part of the exercise.
2. Set a time limit for yourself 3. Set the goal of the free writing
4. After you’ve set a time limit, WRITE. Don’t
stop. If you spell words wrong, don’t go back
to edit. If the idea fades KEEP WRITING.
This is crucial to the exercise. Even if you have nothing on your
mind, write “I HAVE NOTHING ON MY MIND, I HAVE NOTHING ON MY
MIND, I HAVE NOTHING ON MY MIND.” You can keep writing this over
and over because it is okay. What you are doing is freeing your
mind, and eventually something will surface even if you have to do
multiple sessions of free writing.

  • 16. Everyone is capable of creative thinking What I’m thinking about? The left hemisphere of our brain handles tasks such as reading, writing, speaking, arithmetic reasoning and understanding. Another characteristics of our left hemisphere is that it tends to process information sequentially, one at a time. How I’m thinking the right hemisphere of our brain excels in visual perception, understanding spatial relationships, recognizing patterns, music, emotional expressions, etc. It is also good at making inferences.

Walt Disney Method The dreamer The realist The critic When you are a "Dreamer" you are creative, passionate, think of the big picture, letting your imagination run, lay it all out and allow yourself to think big When you are a "Realist" you are thinking more logically, narrow ideas to a short list, take the best idea, create an action plan to apply idea into reality When you are a "Critic" you are thinking more critically, what obstacles will you face, what things could go wrong having heard the action plan and what the dreamer wants, break it down.
  • 18. 6 hats method The white hat helps us to think in the most objective and neutral way possible. With this thought, we need to focus on the available data, look at the information we have and learn from it The black hat is used to be critical in a negative way, thinking why something cannot go well. With it we will activate the thought of judgment and caution, revealing the negative aspects of the addressed issue the blue hat is the one controlling all other hats. It regulates the timing and the order of the different topics. With this one, we discuss the thinking process and summarize what has been said. In the end, the conclusions are written With the red hat, we can express our feelings, intuition, and emotions, without the need for justification The green hat opens up creative possibilities and is deeply linked to lateral or divergent thinking With the yellow hat, unlike the black hat, we try to look at the positive aspects of a specific issue; it will help us see why something is going to work and why it will offer benefits
  • 19. free writing method 1. Clear your mind. Relax. Forget all of the rules concerning grammar. This is the most important part of the exercise. 2. Set a time limit for yourself 3. Set the goal of the free writing 4. After you’ve set a time limit, WRITE. Don’t stop. If you spell words wrong, don’t go back to edit. If the idea fades KEEP WRITING. This is crucial to the exercise. Even if you have nothing on your mind, write “I HAVE NOTHING ON MY MIND, I HAVE NOTHING ON MY MIND, I HAVE NOTHING ON MY MIND.” You can keep writing this over and over because it is okay. What you are doing is freeing your mind, and eventually something will surface even if you have to do multiple sessions of free writing. 5. When the time limit is finished, STOP. Read it and underline all of the ideas
