Rogers Elementary School recently won the Golden Apple Award. It was built in 1937 and named after Philip Rogers, one of the area's earliest settlers. The school participates in various sports programs and has its own dance program. It is also linked with the Fuel Up to Play 60 program through the Chicago Bears, allowing for opportunities to visit Halas Hall. The principal and assistant principal both have a good sense of humor and know many of the students. The school recently received donated Chromebooks and pizza.
