To Whom it May Concern
I was Udi Shapir’s manager during his time with the Integrated Tape Processing
(ITP) in Medco Health Solutions. Udi had elected to participate at Medco’s Work-At-
Home program. During his time in ITP, I had come to admire Udi’s
remarkable and professional work ethic, as well as his engaging personality. I
noticed immediately that Udi thrives in the team dynamic. He contributes
substantially while sustaining a pleasurable work experience for the rest of the team.
Udi has performed his ITP regular responsibilities and supported the system 24
hours a day, participating in our on-call duties. But he did much more during his time
as a member of the ITP team. Udi left notable marks on several visible projects that
were far beyond his standard ITP role. He assumed control over Medco’s Carrier
Pre Process business; trained and led on a daily basis off-shore (India/Brazil) IT
personnel; managed the Solution Center for ITP and created billing systems
presentations for all corporate employees using the Macromedia Breeze Presenter
tool. These supplementary projects were handled flawlessly and proved to be a
major contribution to the company. His vast experience and unique knowledge of
Medco’s business and IT systems were nothing short of extraordinary.
I strongly recommend Udi Shapir for any position, in Medco or otherwise. I have
no doubt he will meet his future endeavors with integrity and exemplary skill as he
did for me.
