Using WordPress, I maintained the Pre-Health Advising website by updating information, adding new information, and
repairing links.
Pre-Health Blackboard Course: 2016 Application Cycle Spring 2015
Designed and implemented Blackboard course that housed student application materials for the 2016 Professional
School Application Cycle. The course helped to streamline the processing of application materials for committee
interviews and letters of recommendation.

Capstone Alliance is an organization made up of faculty, staff, and community members that is dedicated to raising
awareness of issues affecting the LGBTQ population at The University of Alabama campus and in the Tuscaloosa
community.
• Accomplishments
o Safe Zone: Safe Zone training educates faculty and staff at the university on issues affecting the
LGBTQ student population and provides information regarding resources available to those students.
o Safe Zone Trainer: Completed training to become a Safe Zone trainer.
o Lavender Graduation: Created a slide-show presentation for students participating in the university’s
Lavender Graduation ceremony which takes place prior to the general graduation ceremony and
celebrates the accomplishments of LGBTQ students.
