An online survey of 80 students about their music preferences found that pop music was the most popular genre, being favored by 43 students. The majority of students, 38, reported listening to music 3-4 hours per week. The most preferred way to listen to music was through the Internet, chosen by 61 students. Most students, 72, enjoyed live music and 74 watched music television shows.
