The River Thames flows through England and under London Bridge. It is 215 miles long and its width and depth change along its course, being 18 meters wide and variable depth at its rise. The River Thames was formed between 140-170 million years ago during the Jurassic Period when much of England was covered by sea. People enjoy walking along the paths of the River Thames.
