to preventit?

Contingencyplan
Walking down
the stairs quickly
and falling
Making sure the
actor knows
where he is
looking and
concentrate (If
needed to go
quickly down the
stairs)
Actor Low If this does
happen make
sure another
actor is willing to
replace him, or
go slowly down
the stairs and
make it fitthe
film.
Getting run over
whilst walking
down the street
Before crossing
the road look
both ways and
then step out
onto the road.
Actor whohas to
cross a road
Low If the roads are
busy and it is
dangerous to
cross use an
alternative and
cross the road
from a different
angle or use
some roads in a
different area
that aren’t
busy/dangerous.
Getting trapped
in the door on
the bus
Prepare to get on
the bus in good
time and if the
bus is about to go
don’t try and
push the door
open (waitfor
the next one) as
this couldlead to
serious injuries.
Actor whois has
to get on the bus
Low If the actor
continuously
misses the bus or
gets there late
use an
alternative, for
example, get a
taxi instead of a
bus or walkand
cut it so it looks
like a short walk.
Walking into
people when
getting off the
bus
Walk calmly off
the bus, and be
prepared to
move out of the
way for anyone
getting on the
bus.
Actor whois
getting off the
bus
Medium If this does
happen be polite
in an apology or
continue on the
bus and get off
when it is less
busy. (Make sure
the cameraman is
prepared at a
different bus
stop)
Camera might fall
and drop on
directors feet
Hold it clear
enough to see but
in case it falls it
has a distance
between your
feet.
Camera holder Low In case this
happens a
backup plan
would be to use a
dolly whichwill
carry and
transport the
camera
throughout
scenes.
