Every child has certain privileges and protections that they are entitled to simply by virtue of being human. These privileges are known as rights, which a child should have access to regardless of who they are or where they live. Some key rights that all children have include protections against discrimination, access to healthcare and education, freedom from abuse and exploitation, and the right to have their best interests considered in matters affecting them.
