FREEDOM OF HUMAN PERSON
At the end of the lesson, you must
• Discern the essence of true freedom
• Discuss moral responsibility and accountability in the exercise of your freedom
• Realize that all action have consequences
• Evaluate the exercise of prudence in choices
• Realize that choices have consequences, and some things are given up while
others are obtained in making choices, and
• Show situations that demonstrate freedom of choice and the conseuences of
choices
What is Freedom?
FREEDOM
Is an intrinsic and essential property of a person
It is rooted in the human person’s self- determination and the exercise of intellectual and free will

Types of Freedom

PHYSICAL FREEDOM
Freedom to go anywhere you want
( freedom of mobility) with no physical
restraint or force that will impede his/ her
actions.
PSYCHOLOGICAL FREEDOM
It is freedom of choice. The person is free to perform actions
or not to do an action that he/ she considers right or wise.
It is innate, hence no outside force or influence can compel a
person to take action against his/ her will.
MORAL FREEDOM
Freedom that upholds human
dignity and goodness.
What makes us free?
