This document presents a study on the impact of motivational factors on entrepreneurial orientation among women entrepreneurs in Cuddalore District, India. The study aims to assess entrepreneurial orientation, identify the influence of motivational factors on orientation, identify the influence of orientation on performance, and develop a model relating motivational factors and orientation. A questionnaire will be used to collect data on demographics, motivational factors, entrepreneurial orientation, and performance from women entrepreneurs in Cuddalore District. Descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, and multiple regression will be used for analysis. The study aims to contribute to understanding the relationship between motivational drivers and entrepreneurial mindset among women business owners.

Bangladesh has enormous young women and productive workforce that will get an opportunity to involve in Small
and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) sector. This paper aims to investigate the factors that affect women involvement as
entrepreneur in SMEs sector, economic development and its impact on poverty reduction in Bangladesh. The study
adopts the quantitative analysis of possible factors that may affect women involvement as entrepreneur in SMEs
sector, economic development and its impact on poverty reduction. By using Convenient Sampling Technique, the
data has been collected from 300 respondents. Data are analyzed using frequency, mean, standard deviation and
regression analysis. From the outcomes of descriptive statistics analysis, the study is found that business experience,
business plan, practical knowledge, security, interest & hobby, others business house profits, adequate capital,
business registration procedures, qualified leaders & trainers, and bank & financial institutions support are affected
women involvement as entrepreneur in SMEs sector. From the results of regression analysis, this research is found
that economical, psychological, knowledge & skills, family, and legal & administrative as the essential factors,
which significantly affect women involvement as entrepreneur in SMEs sector in Bangladesh. The research is
revealed that women entrepreneur, long-term business success and employment creation as the vital factors, which
notably affect economic development. The study is also revealed that economic development as the critical factor,
which considerably affects poverty reduction. This examination may contribute to these women entrepreneur issues.
The results of this investigation can be applied by government and non-government organization, public institutions,
rural development academy, policymakers and even researchers to inspire women involvement as entrepreneur in
SMEs sector. The researchers strongly expect that this investigation creates value to the literature because it uses a
conceptual framework to give explanation the factors that affect women involvement as entrepreneur in SMEs

convey positive contribution towards economic process. To ascertain this; the subject matter has presented herein.
Such presentation has been done by giving detailed analysis of the effects of challenges encounters female
entrepreneurial taking Malaysia, which is one of the transformed economies as the country of context. There is a
promising growth in entrepreneurial activities in the recent years in Malaysia; yet, this growth has seen to have
many male entrepreneurs leaving females with minimal rate of participation. There are challenges identified,
evaluated and analyzed to be the very reasons that leads to this scenario. The study employed three challenges
called economic, resource and cultural extracted from Isa et al., (2018); the challenges which are henceforth
implemented as independent variables (IVs) of the study. The study has found the significant correlation between
each of these IVs (EoC) and its subject matter; that’s female entrepreneurial (FE) in Malaysia the DV with the
significant levels of 0.026 and 0.012 respectively. The extent of effects was regretted to be 62% within the inverse
correlation of 0.89 to mean that the increase of EoC results to the decrease of FE and the decrease of EoC leads to
the increase of FE. The statistical analytics were measured using SPSS and data were secondarily reviewed from
the study of Hossain et al., (2018). For further researches; an expansion to reach other stakeholders like police
makers and officers of financial institutions has been recommended because, this study has been established on the
mere perspectives and opinions of entrepreneurs and not other stakeholders of entreprenerial activities.

ABSTRACT : The study sought to establish the effect of mentoring on employee performance of selected
small and medium scale enterprises in Lagos State, Nigeria. Despite various entrepreneurship programs such as
apprenticeship, coaching, and Employee orientation engaged in by SMEs where an employee or apprentices is
taught on how business processes flow, employees‟ performance among SMEs in Lagos State has been found to
be poor with regards to employee productivity, employee commitment, and organisational citizenship
behaviour. The study was anchored Equity theory. The study used a survey research design. The unit of analysis
was owners/managers of registered SMEs in Lagos State.The target population was all the registered 8,396
SMEs in Lagos State. A sample of 370 owners/managers (respondents) was selected throughsimple random
sampling.An adapted and structured questionnaire was used in collecting primary data. A pilot study was
conducted to ensure the data collection tool is reliable. The collected data was analysed using inferential
statistics with the help of Statistical Package for Social Sciences, version 26.0. The study found that through
Apprenticeship training, the employeesare able to improve their productivity. Inaddition, the study found
thatCoaching had a significant influence on Employee Commitment. The study also found that through
employee orientation, the employees are able to improve their citizenship behaviour in the organisation. The
paper recommends that the supervising agency of selected oil and gas upstream companies in Nigeria should
develop policy guidelines aimed at expanding and improving efficiency of the companies to facilitate high
organisational outcome through capability divestiture. The studyrecommended that SMEs owners in Nigeria
should encourage mentoring of their employees through apprenticeship, coaching and orientation in relation to
their previous efforts as this has been shown to improve employee performance.

Challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in the present technological era
Women entrepreneurs face many challenges in India, including balancing family responsibilities with career, socio-cultural barriers, and operating in a male-dominated society. Some key challenges are lack of education, lack of access to financial assistance, lack of technical and managerial skills, poor marketing abilities, lack of self-confidence, and mobility constraints. Suggestions to address these challenges include providing separate financial aid and infrastructure for women-owned businesses, conducting training programs, recognizing top women entrepreneurs, improving education, establishing guidance cells, simplifying legal processes, and ensuring family support. Addressing these challenges can help encourage more women to pursue entrepreneurship.

The purpose of this study to know the Influence of Entrepreneurship Orientation on Business Performance with Entrepreneurial Learning as Moderating Variable in Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Southeast Sulawesi (Studies in the Food Industry). Population totaled 109 IKM foods that have met the criteria spread over 4 (four) districts in Southeast Sulawesi province, that consists of: Konsel, Bombana, Kolaka and Kendari. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) of AMOS7 and statistical software package SPSS (Statistic Packages for Social Sciences). In this study, researchers tested the validity of the simple correlation technique with SPSS version 12.0 The results of this study showed that the entrepreneurial orientation plays an important role in improving the performance of SMEs. The next entrepreneurial learning plays an important role in improving the performance of SMEs. There is a direct influence on the business performance of learning entrepreneurial SME food but not significant. The results of this study also prove that the entrepreneurial orientation moderated by entrepreneurial learning plays an important role in improving the performance of SMEs. This means that the entrepreneurial orientation will be stronger and not directly served to increase the performance of SMEs when supported with the right entrepreneurial learning in improving the performance of SMEs. This means that we need a learning that is applied so that the benefits of learning to give importance in the improvement of the performance of SMEs.

ABSTRACT: This study aims to analyze the effect of each of the Big Five Factors on the Need for
Achievement and analyze the effect of personality trait configurations on the Need for Achievement and
Entrepreneurial Intentions in final semester students of Jambi University, Indonesia. This study adopted an
inferential design with cross-sectional data. The sample was final semester students of 7 faculties at Jambi
University, totaling 2,600 (50% male, 50% female). The results showed that Big Five Factors (except Emotional
Stability) have a positive and significant effect on Entrepreneurial Intentions. Big Five Factors positively and
significantly influence Need for Achievement and Entrepreneurial Intentions. The limitation of this study
recognizes that the sample used, namely students with final year status, may not represent the total population of
prospective student graduates as a whole. For future research, the representativeness of the sample should be
increased. Future research, using a broader and more diverse sample in terms of age, education, ethnicity, city,
and socio-economic background may reveal a greater Need for Achievement between men and women found in
Jambi University students. This research was analyzed with perception or attitude-based survey-type data
processing. The researcher suggests that to capture more in-depth phenomena and dynamic relationships in
uncovering the big five personality factors among university students in starting entrepreneurship, more
qualitative research is highly recommended, which includes longitudinal observations and intensive behavioraloriented interviews.

Entrepreneurship is considered as a source of wealth creation, economic growth, social progress, and technological development. The current paper seeks to shed light on obstacles that are impeding business creators to start their businesses. To identify the observed constraints, we developed a questionnaire that we addressed to 120 new entrepreneurs drawing on the theoretical and empirical literature. The application of factor analysis has revealed that business creators’ decision to launch their ventures is hindered mainly by the following factors: lack of managerial and business skills, poor training programs, and risk aversion. The study also suggests some recommendations to alleviate obstacles facing new entrepreneurs when deciding to launch their projects

Because cultural norms govern most of their actions, the social environment may limit their choices. 90% of the population is Muslim, and according to the Islamic perspective, women must maintain purdah, which could impede their performance in the workplace. In reality, Bangladeshis' extremely marginalized social position may pose substantial challenges to creating their own businesses, making it difficult for women to pursue entrepreneurship there. In a developing country like Bangladesh, women entrepreneurs operate in a resource-constrained environment. There are reasons to assume that this is a constrained environment for the entrepreneurial activities and business performance of women entrepreneurs. We aim at identifying and exploring the determinants of women's entrepreneurship in such a developing country from a bricolage approach. Theoretically, we can enhance insight into how resources in combination impact Bangladeshi women entrepreneurs' performance. The study was conducted in the Jamalpur and Mymensingh districts of Bangladesh on 211 women. Women entrepreneurs have shops where they sell different types of handicraft products, for example, fabric, bamboo, cane, jute, leather, and wooden products. Data were collected through a survey (i.e., executed as site visits) using a structured questionnaire. The social and business environment in terms of societal norms and customs is a hindrance to performance; the business environment does not affect the performance; combined Innovative–proactive EO and Risk-taking EO positively impact business performance. Based on this, we theoretically suggest that the (developed versus developing world) context should be added to Resource-Based Theory (RBT) to explain the possible ways a woman entrepreneur can deploy resources. Through the study of real-life cases , we tried to gain valuable insights into enhancing the marketplace experience for Generation Z.

evaluated and analyzed to be the very reasons that leads to this scenario. The study employed three challenges
called economic, resource and cultural extracted from Isa et al., (2018); the challenges which are henceforth
implemented as independent variables (IVs) of the study. The study has found the significant correlation between
each of these IVs (EoC) and its subject matter; that’s female entrepreneurial (FE) in Malaysia the DV with the
significant levels of 0.026 and 0.012 respectively. The extent of effects was regretted to be 62% within the inverse
correlation of 0.89 to mean that the increase of EoC results to the decrease of FE and the decrease of EoC leads to
the increase of FE. The statistical analytics were measured using SPSS and data were secondarily reviewed from
the study of Hossain et al., (2018). For further researches; an expansion to reach other stakeholders like police
makers and officers of financial institutions has been recommended because, this study has been established on the
mere perspectives and opinions of entrepreneurs and not other stakeholders of entreprenerial activities.

taught on how business processes flow, employees‟ performance among SMEs in Lagos State has been found to
be poor with regards to employee productivity, employee commitment, and organisational citizenship
behaviour. The study was anchored Equity theory. The study used a survey research design. The unit of analysis
was owners/managers of registered SMEs in Lagos State.The target population was all the registered 8,396
SMEs in Lagos State. A sample of 370 owners/managers (respondents) was selected throughsimple random
sampling.An adapted and structured questionnaire was used in collecting primary data. A pilot study was
conducted to ensure the data collection tool is reliable. The collected data was analysed using inferential
statistics with the help of Statistical Package for Social Sciences, version 26.0. The study found that through
Apprenticeship training, the employeesare able to improve their productivity. Inaddition, the study found
thatCoaching had a significant influence on Employee Commitment. The study also found that through
employee orientation, the employees are able to improve their citizenship behaviour in the organisation. The
paper recommends that the supervising agency of selected oil and gas upstream companies in Nigeria should
develop policy guidelines aimed at expanding and improving efficiency of the companies to facilitate high
organisational outcome through capability divestiture. The studyrecommended that SMEs owners in Nigeria
should encourage mentoring of their employees through apprenticeship, coaching and orientation in relation to
their previous efforts as this has been shown to improve employee performance.

Women entrepreneurs face many challenges in India, including balancing family responsibilities with career, socio-cultural barriers, and operating in a male-dominated society. Suggestions to address these challenges include providing separate financial aid and infrastructure for women-owned businesses, conducting training programs, recognizing top women entrepreneurs, improving education, establishing guidance cells, simplifying legal processes, and ensuring family support. Addressing these challenges can help encourage more women to pursue entrepreneurship.

The purpose of this study to know the Influence of Entrepreneurship Orientation on Business Performance with Entrepreneurial Learning as Moderating Variable in Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Southeast Sulawesi (Studies in the Food Industry). Population totaled 109 IKM foods that have met the criteria spread over 4 (four) districts in Southeast Sulawesi province, that consists of: Konsel, Bombana, Kolaka and Kendari. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) of AMOS7 and statistical software package SPSS (Statistic Packages for Social Sciences). In this study, researchers tested the validity of the simple correlation technique with SPSS version 12.0 The results of this study showed that the entrepreneurial orientation plays an important role in improving the performance of SMEs. The next entrepreneurial learning plays an important role in improving the performance of SMEs. There is a direct influence on the business performance of learning entrepreneurial SME food but not significant. The results of this study also prove that the entrepreneurial orientation moderated by entrepreneurial learning plays an important role in improving the performance of SMEs. This means that the entrepreneurial orientation will be stronger and not directly served to increase the performance of SMEs when supported with the right entrepreneurial learning in improving the performance of SMEs. This means that we need a learning that is applied so that the benefits of learning to give importance in the improvement of the performance of SMEs.

Achievement and analyze the effect of personality trait configurations on the Need for Achievement and

inferential design with cross-sectional data. The sample was final semester students of 7 faculties at Jambi
University, totaling 2,600 (50% male, 50% female). The results showed that Big Five Factors (except Emotional
Stability) have a positive and significant effect on Entrepreneurial Intentions. Big Five Factors positively and
significantly influence Need for Achievement and Entrepreneurial Intentions. The limitation of this study
recognizes that the sample used, namely students with final year status, may not represent the total population of
prospective student graduates as a whole. For future research, the representativeness of the sample should be
increased. Future research, using a broader and more diverse sample in terms of age, education, ethnicity, city,
and socio-economic background may reveal a greater Need for Achievement between men and women found in
Jambi University students. This research was analyzed with perception or attitude-based survey-type data
processing. The researcher suggests that to capture more in-depth phenomena and dynamic relationships in
uncovering the big five personality factors among university students in starting entrepreneurship, more
qualitative research is highly recommended, which includes longitudinal observations and intensive behavioraloriented interviews.

- 2. Introduction Nowadays, entrepreneurship is playing very vital role in uplifting the economies of developing countries. Entrepreneurship is driving force of modern economies and it plays a vital role in country economic development. According to Ali et al. (2011), the world is viewing entrepreneurship as a tool of sustainable development. Entrepreneurship has not only played significant role in the success of developed countries but it has also been highly influential in the development of emerging economies. Entrepreneurial orientation means all those practices, processes and decision-making activities adopted by entrepreneurs to act entrepreneurially that carries one into initiation of an entrepreneurial firm (Lumpkin et al.,1996). The economic, social, religious, cultural, and psychological factors affect origination and success of women entrepreneurs (Habib, Roni, & Haque, 2005). The reasons and motivations for starting business or economic activities by the women are enormous.

Women Entrepreneurs Women have been successful in breaking their confinement within the limits of their homes by entering into varied kinds of professionals and services women entrepreneurs have proved to be on par with their men counterparts in business acumen and are emerging as smart and dynamic entrepreneurs. There are many reasons for women to enter into entrepreneurial ventures in a predominantly society. Entrepreneurship among women is an important avenue through which women can overcome their subordination within the family and the family and the society as a whole.
- 4. REVIEW OF LITERATURE Asad Javed, et al. (2018) discovered that psychological factors affect entrepreneurial orientation and non-psychological factors moderate this relationship. Gilbert Kimutai Arap Bor (2018) revealed that entrepreneurial innovativeness, risk taking and proactiveness have a direct positive relationship with performance of SMEs. Prabin Raj Gautam (2016) found that dimensions of EO such as autonomy, risk-taking, and pro-activeness and competitive aggressiveness were positively correlated with business performance. However, innovativeness had no correlation with business performance of handicraft enterprises in Nepal.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY • To assess the entrepreneurial orientation among women entrepreneurs in Cuddalore district. • To identify the influence of motivational factors on entrepreneurial orientation among women entrepreneurs. • To identify the influence of entrepreneurial orientation on performance of women entrepreneurs. • To develop the model that represents that impact of motivational factors on entrepreneurial orientation among women entrepreneurs.

HYPOTHESES OF THE STUDY • There is no significant difference towards entrepreneurial orientation with respect to demographic profile. • There is no influence of motivational factors on entrepreneurial orientation among women entrepreneurs. • There is no influence of entrepreneurial orientation on performance of women entrepreneurs. • There is no influence of motivational factors on performance of women entrepreneurs with respect to entrepreneurial orientation.
